Primary objectives: As the
Internet Marketing Associate, you
will contribute to the overall
success of Ipswitch's on-line
presence by supporting the
production and implementation of
our on-line efforts. You'll be
responsible for much of the
day-to-day maintenance of Web
content, tracking of Web site and
On-line initiatives and
performing quality assurance
testing in various aspects.
Working closely with the Internet
Marketing Team, you will serve as
the primary point person for
customer inquiries and
participate in an assortment of
projects in varying capacities.
The ideal candidate will be
team-oriented and have solid
quality assurance skills,
excellent attention to detail,
and a strong passion for the
Internet.
The Internet Marketing
Associate will:

Assist in keeping the Web site
fresh - identify pages that
are no longer relevant, keep
site map current and ensure
time-relevant content is
updated
* Respond, track and escalate
incoming Webmaster emails as
well as other inquiries
regarding our Web site in a
timely manner
* Perform routine quality
assurance checks for broken
links, load times, file sizes,
misspellings, missing Meta and
ALT Tags and convey
findings
* Add/update instruction
guides, white papers and other
technical documents to the
site
* Examine Web site visitor
behavior and detect and report
on anomalies and noticeable
changes
* Scan the Ipswitch.com Web
site to look for usability
issues as well as
opportunities for
improvement
* Monitor on-line Software
Download sites to track
download activity of our
software
* Submit paid-keywords to
Search Engines
* Work with Web Site Manager
to keep track of major changes
on the Web site and to measure
initiative impact based upon
key success criteria as
identified by the Web site
Manage
* Monitor competitor and
industry-related Web sites and
submit findings
* Provide regular reports on
the effectiveness of on-line
campaigns and promotions
* Assist Web Site Manager,
Webmaster and On-line
Marketing Manager when
necessary
* Respond to a variety of
Web-related requests from
other departments for regular
updates on the site
* Assist Internet Marketing
Team during product release
process by updating requested
pages, working with our
translation agency for our
International pages, and
performing post- publish
quality assurance
checks
Qualifications:

Experience working with Web
personnel or in a Web
environment
* Strong understanding of the
Internet and the role a Web
site plays in an
organization
* Working knowledge of HTML
editors or HTML - CSS skills a
plus
* Well organized with strong
attention to detail
* Excellent communication and
listening skills and ability
to take direction
* Must be able to work
independently and be
solution/results
orientated
* Proven ability to
follow-through completion of
tasks
* Ability to understand and
respond to customer
inquiries
